The September full moon name is the Corn moon, however, the full moon closest to the Atumnal equinox is called the Harvest moon, and sometimes the September moon is the Harvest moon. This year, September’s moon falls on September 4. The equinox falls on September 22 and the October moon is full October 4. The Harvest moon will be Ocrtober’s full moon.

This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Hey, that's the same moon that we see way down here in New Zealand!
:)
Yes it's beautiful, it was so bright I left the curtains open a little allowing it to shine through on us tucked up in bed so we moonbathed!
