This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Skippy's summer haircut
Skippy has become a sleek and slim puppy again! He's ready for summer in his "nuddie clip". So much cooler for a black dog, and easier. He looks and feels like a velveteen teddy bear now!

Hi there! Here comes summer! Skippy's personality shines out from his face, you can tell he is loved and loves. Been off work today with a cold yuk, but shuffling around the house miserable, sipping Lemon & Ginger Tea; I was privy and brightened to see seeds popping through the soil at different times throughout the day. Need to annouce a cucumber that pushed up, my first ever, not 100% on what is going to happen with it, I think you have notes I can refer to. Kathy the guru.
