This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Hi there! Here comes summer! Skippy's personality shines out from his face, you can tell he is loved and loves. Been off work today with a cold yuk, but shuffling around the house miserable, sipping Lemon & Ginger Tea; I was privy and brightened to see seeds popping through the soil at different times throughout the day. Need to annouce a cucumber that pushed up, my first ever, not 100% on what is going to happen with it, I think you have notes I can refer to. Kathy the guru. Off for something stronger now hot toddy to help me sleep haha!
