Love your gardens! How in the world did you get a view from the air? Love it!

That is a nice garden you have. What veggies have you got there? Becca

A second story window.

And so far: tomatoes, lettuce, parsley, broccoli, bok choy, basil, alpine strawberries and peas. The empty spaces will soon be filled with cukes and beans.

This is my "shady" garden. Sun from maybe 11-3. These veggies do good here. Others are out in the full sun at my community plot.

My garden only gets full sun between about 11-3 too :D I'm glad to know those still do well for you though, maybe they'll do well for me too hehe.

Love love love all the garden space you have! I'm already talking my boyfriend into expanding our garden in our backyard next year for more vegetable space since I'm having so much fun with it this year :D

It's also so encouraging to see that you've done it for many years and you still seem to love it so much!! :)

question! are you using the trellises for tomoatoes as well as for the peas? I'm a first time gardner here and debating how to support the tomatoes.

Keep up the great work!

I am curious about the 4 wooden trellises attached to the 2x4's (?) - what do you use these for?

I swear my scarlet runner beans here in Oakland CA have been growing 6" a day!

The lattices are for cucumbers. I love the look of these and they work well.

Try this link for the tomato supports I've used previously. This year I'm using a classic tomato support, that many gardeners use, but I can;t find reference to it on line. I'll try to post photos soon.

great idea with the cucumber lattice. We are expexting about four more days without rain ao I am hopeful that I can get the tiller fixed and get the rest of the garden in.

Hey, I have a question. We want to use that idea for the cucumber lattice to conserve space, how far off the ground is the bottom of the lattice?
Thanks, Tim
