This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Your Thanksgiving is elegant and down to earth at the same time. I just love what you have done.
I just got home from an ill-conceived "Black Friday" shopping trip and needed a return to Thanksgiving. Your pictures are great! Thanks for sharing; it got me right back in the real spirit of the holiday.
p.s. What kind of pie is that? I'm going to guess apple.

Looks like a great Thanksgiving. I lived in Arizona for 12 years and I miss it (in the winter only).
I just found your blog and am enjoying it. I LOVE that table!
Yes, the pie is apple and was yummy. It was made by my 15 yr old niece. Its so nice to have a baker in the family! She made a pumpkin pie too.
Looks warm and inviting! Great shots!
