I still can't get over how great it is that a local horse owner brings his extra *** to the community gardens. A fresh big pile today.
Skippy has gotten very grown up about the pile. No more rolling in it or eating it. He gives a brief sniff and moves on.
So I shoveled a barrowful, maneuvered to my plot, and dumped it onto the bed that will grow my popcorn next year. Such pleasure to think about what will grow next year.....

That looks like a pile of promise. Never used manure before, I don't think our many neighbors that surround use would like it so much :-)
I de-shelled the Crimson Flowered Broad beans today that I saved this summer. If you are still interested in some I can send them now or early next year. Which ever you prefer?

We could do a trade if you would like. The only thing that I can think of that I am looking for is some of those celeriac seeds. I would only grow about four plants so I wouldn't need very many seeds. If you don't have any left that is fine to, I can just send off some seeds.
