This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

YAY! My garlic bed is sprouting, too! Eager little things, aren't they?
They look lovely. I dont know about you.. but sometimes I tend to get a little emotional when it comes to sprouting plants....they're just so cute!!
Just finished planting 27 cloves of garlic. We're just about going into fall her with the weather being between 27 deg C and 16 Deg C.
I say 'just' way too much.
My garlic is not sprouting yet, but then it;s only been a week and a day. Perhaps too soon?
I planted my own crop of Susanville. Now I'll have to get out there and see if mine are sprouting and if not, at least get a layer of leaves on the bed.
I keep thinking I should plant some garlic. I should really find a spot soon before it is to late. Yours look very happy.
I planted these on the 21st of Oct (plus of minus a day). Just over 3 weeks ago.
Great ,, mine is sprouting yesterday and its really make us happy
