impression of the woods

The woods look like a Monet painting now.

This photo is from last Sunday. Skippy and I followed an old stone wall instead of the path so I would see all the leaves up close. I did a little PhotoShopping to make the picture look more like the woods looked to me. Spots of color. Lots of filtered light. Pastel shades.

Beautiful, the way the leaves appear reminds me of pictures(technique) I have seen by Georges Seurat, in that the leaves look close up like seperate dabs or "finger print like" impressions on a canvas that when standing back blend together to give in this case a wonderful picture of autumn beauty.
You should create a Kathy calendar!
