This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Can't wait to see what it looks like in the up coming months. Is it hard to get a plot there?
From what I hear, this is the first year they have had a waiting list. I don't know how long the list is, but I've also heard that gardens in the area are in very short supply. So, it sounds like it will get harder to get a plot here.
That's a great looking community garden, nice and organized and well laid out. You should have a great time using your space there.
I am really looking forward. A recent comment from previous gardener there is that there are many critters around these gardens that enjoy veggies.
I hope you get a plot, I can wait to see what it looks like. My city does not have a community garden. I wish it did.
