This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

community plots
Yesterday I walked through Rock Meadow Community Gardens with Skippy. I took pictures of many of the plots, which are showing lots of signs of spring planting. I enjoy the different ways of using the plots. Different types of beds and different types of pathways. I'm considering how I will set up my plot. Tomorrow's the big day - plot assignments!

Cool plot tour, the small pics all together, and then I took a look at the enlargements! I love all the different styles, side by side...
You have a very well laid out blog here, and I love reading about gardeners anyways. The winter has been lingering here in Canada and I've been growing seedlings a little too early in anticipation for the spring!
I also have a blog on gardening that you might enjoy:
