This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.
Hi, Your garden is wonderful! It is so great to see another local garden. I have a potager garden at home in Melrose. It seems that yours is very much like that too. Vegetables with flowers and herbs -the best! And your cardinal and bunny photos are great - this week, I had a wren land on top of my obelisk that has a - wren sculpture - on the top! Double decker wrens! Life is great -

The mature females have an orange beak. This young one still has a black beak.
