This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

I was trying to talk myself out of starting seeds *quite* yet but you're not helping. ;-)
(I live in north central Florida, about 3.5-4 hours north of Naples)
Guess what? I'll be in Miami on Sunday! Impromptu visit. lol Something about tomato seedlings makes me happy.
Isn't that true. Something about tomato seedlings.
I think I will have to wait another month before starting the tomato season on the bathroom window... Can't wait.
Does she take them away from Florida with her in the summer? Do seedlings travel well??
She is hoping they will be producing tomatoes before she goes back home in April or May. Maybe she will give them to a neighbor then or bring them North in the car. Its a new thing to try.
