lettuce seedlings

lettuce sprouts

My first seeds to sprout are the lettuce. Both black seeded simpson and a lettuce mix have lots of little sprouts - all in a row.

Lactuca sativa

Beautiful picture, love to follow the hole process from seed to plant and I enjoy the "from plant to mouth" process as well. :-)

You've got to love the web. If you want a few seeds, send me a small self addressed stamped envelope to Michael Shreeve, 15901 cloverdale road, anderson, ca 96007 they will be soison lettuce, or greens such as beets, chard, ect, or cilantro. No big envelopes, save your money. One stamp should be fine on the SASE. Yes, SynergySeeds.com is an awesome site. The owner wants it to be simple. So it is. He wants you to download the catalog, and carry it around with you, or reproduce it and give it to your friends. Pass it around. Thanks.

By the way, they look more like sunflower or squash, but I could an probably am wrong.

Well, out to the garden, which is feeling completely ignored because of construction projects and the web projects.
