This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

ready for planting seeds tomorrow
These pots and seeds are waiting on my kitchen counter for me to plant tomorrow. Five or six types of broccoli, raab, broccolini, etc - we love broccoli. Also flowers: cosmos, cleome, tithonia (Mexican sunflower), nigella, and bells of Ireland.
I have a whole bunch of seeds to get planted too...I was waiting for my hubby to set up my lights and shelves, but that never happened, so it looks like I'll have to do it myself!

Hmm. Sure seems like that should be a hubby task...Kidding. I bet you can do it.
