This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Happy birthday Skip. Was there doggie goodies for tea? We were only saying the same about time at the weekend when my niece turned 30! Makes us feel positively ancient. Marian (LondonUK)
Yes, there were doggie goodies! Skippy had a proper birthday, with fried eggs and bacon for breakfast then dinner was grilled chicken and things from a bag to chew on. Oh and some kibble too. And a long walk in the woods and lots of attention from his family.

Thanks for the B-day wishes.
Yay for doggie goodies! I've just dropped by, again, but am glad to see you're both still enjoying the woods, gardening, etc.
