This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.
A cold frame full of winter vegetable seedlings already. Wow! Seasons seem so short once you've lived through the heat and the cold of them, don't they?
Your dahlias are so lovely. And, did you eat that sweet potato yet? I would have. :)
I have been eating lots of bok choy the past 2 nights. I think I'll eat some of the sweet potato tonight! No way I can eat all of it though. Let's see: sweet potato fries? tempura? roasted with other roots? pureed with some Butternut squash? This is making me hungry.

Nothing like cut flowers from the garden to cheer up a room...beautiful varieties.
