This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Beautiful photo. It reminds me of the old JJ Kale song.
We have a Magnolia tree as well! However, the tree and I have a LOVE/HATE relationship. I love how beautiful it is, but hate what a mess it makes in the yard! Beautiful picture, I have ones just like it!
One of my favorite trees! Such grace and beauty. Magnolias bloomed here in California about a month ago, so it's so nice being reminded of it again :).
Glorious, the magnolias and blossoms are so beautiful at the moment. It was really warm and sunny here yesterday, had to wear my factor 30 at the Lottie. Marian(LondonUK)
Hey Kathy, I saw this video post and thought you may be interested because they planted clover out in the lawn: http://www.naturechallenge.org/dmg09/calvin/emissions_free_turf_final_entry.html

aha, you've solved a mystery for me. I've been seeing these gorgeous white and pink blossoms everywhere and was wondering what they were.
