This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

happy easter
Skippy is enjoying the pansies. I will try to plant then in the garden today - a good gardening activity for a beautiful Easter Sunday!
(Disclaimer - my son says I should be honest here and disclose that I put a treat in the pansies and Skippy is not actually interested in the flowers. However, it is an actual photo with only a little Photoshopping to fix the contrast.)

I think the photo is great (treat or not). Happy Easter to you!
Happy Easter! Hope you have had your fill of chocolate. Great shot of Skippy and the Pansies. I put some in our hanging basket outside the front door last week. They are such an under estimated plant I feel.
Hope to visit Boston October 2012, will email you separately with dates etc. My email is same as when we discussed seed swap a couple of years ago, guess yours is same too, will try anyway.
Take care.

Happy Easter!
Love the picture of Skippy.
I'm a new follower and am finding your blog very inspiring. And your photos provide quite a visual feast! Can't wait to follow your garden along this year ;-)

Happy easter to you! You have great looking flowers and dog. Your pansies are so vibrant and they're great with roses too :)
