These are the flowers blooming in my yard this week. I planted 50 of the bright yellow waterlily tulips (top) in my front yard last fall and they're in full bloom now. The bright cerise Batalini tulips (bottom left) are at my community garden plot. I love early tulips! They open in the sun and close when its cloudy. I'm so happy to see them after a long and snowy winter.
I bought a tray full of bright little violas to plat in the big pots in my back yard for a cheerful view from my kitchen window.

I use my own blend of Mycorrhizae on everything I plant. Does anyone know if mycorrhizae does anything for violas? It works with 95% of all plants and I bet it would make those violas strong and disease resistant. I've noticed you use the word plat here. You used it on the "work day" post, too. Is that a gardening term? Or did you mean to say plant? I'm a novice gardener so I take nothing for granted. I love johnny-jump-ups and am never disturbed to find them where they're not planted. The cerise has beautiful color!

Patricia, Yes, many things at the same time this year. I think because of all the snow. The Hellebore and Galanthus usually bloom in the winter, but didn't bloom this year until the snow melted. Since we had 3-4 feet in my yard 'til mid March, everything started blooming together in April.
More day by day. daffodils are popping now.
Sue, I enjoyed looking at that link (not). These things pop up now and then and I think there's not much we can do. I think most people can figure out the real site and these clones aren't worth our time to worry about.
Wendy, "Plat" is a top secret word, ;-) it is garden jargon for typing the word 'plant" too fast. I should go back and fix it, but will leave it now. I wonder why spell-checker didn't catch that??

We had a paucity of snow this year, and my hellebore, the Lenten variety, has been blooming merrily through... Lent! I fear that trying a Christmas rose here would be a hiding to nothing.

Did anything happen about that other site that was copying you a year or two ago? The one where the guy seemed to be running stuff through a translator and then reversing it?

That other site has an entirely new format - no more plagiarism - last I looked.
The tulips are a wonderful color for this time of year. They are cheerful and just plain beautiful.
