This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

seedlings
Had my lights off the seedlings today to move things around and so I took some photos. They are growing fast! I'm thinking by March 1 they will need to go out to the cold frame.
Your off to a good start there! I have been meaning to get seeding but other stuff has been getting in the way. It is supposed to rain all weekend, but I don't care, it will give me time to get some seeding done. Roll on Saturday! Marian (London UK)
I love to see people using seeds to start a garden. It's so economical and fun to watch the seedlings grow and mature. I do landscape designfor a living and often recommend this technique to my clients.

Seedlings are hard to take care of. You look like you're doing great! Good job. I wish I could say mine look as good as yours!
