This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Since I'd like to set up a rain barrel soon, I'm bookmarking this useful post on Garden Rant.

Thanks so much for the link! It was extremely helpful in my research on rain barrels, as I'm very new to them. :-)
Thanks for reminding me about this post. It is a good resource from Garden Rant. I may get around to setting up my barrel this year. A lot of great rain is passing me by. Good luck with yours.
