This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. But Skippy always stood by me and was a great friend. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps and garden with me. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees and berry bushes, chickens and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Yes! I agree!

I am actually an avid, rabid Red Sox fan (although I live in coastal Virginia, I have Dish Network so that I can get my daily dose of NESN's Sports Desk and Glove 10.0!)) and would love to see Boston teams as World Series AND Super Bowl champs! I don't really follow basketball, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that the Celts continue with their excellent season. I don't have as much hope, sadly, for the Bruins.

HI there. I'm starting to watch the Celts these days. One of those things to do in the winter season to pass time until I can get my shovel out.... But its nice that they're doing well. I used to watch way back when they were a top team.

Of course next weekend is the BIG game around here.
