This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.
Gosh, nice meal from that lot. Is that a squash in the right hand side of the piccie, very interesting. it looks like a giant mushroom. The raspberries look so delicious, I love raspberries. I have been making low fat summer berry cake this year, it's good as cake or with ice cream (low fat, of course, as dessert).
wow. Impressive, and great mix of short and long-term storage goodies! =)

Nice! What a great harvest!!
ReplyDeleteYour butternut squash look wonderful. I've never had much luck with them, I don't think I have the climate.

Awesome! I am growing raspberries also, and picking tons of them. They taste great fresh off the plant.
