This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.
They look awesome! So does your dirt. We have nothing but mud down here on the seacoast. And that's if you don't have puddles the size of small ponds! Rainiest March in history! But, I know that some crop somewhere will be improved by it. Maybe the blueberries or the strawberries!
I love your photos! I always get such a rush when my asparagus and peas pop up for the first time. Now I have really skinny 4-6 inch asparagus spears but my peas haven't popped up yet.
My peas are sprouting too. I just found them today.
ReplyDeleteLooks like great germination! Can't wait for the first pea harvest, especially the snaps.

ReplyDeleteNice! I'm still waiting for mine to pop up their little green heads and say "hello."

ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteMine are just starting to show. I was beginning to worry they'd floated downstream earlier in the week!
Mine are coming up as well, now to add the supports and protect them from the deer.
