This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

leaf buds
There are some signs of life out there. These are lilac, honeysuckle and wild rose buds in the bushes near my garden.
The buds on our Lilacs are filling out I love them, also the Cherry Blossom planted in the street outside our house, that brings me April joy. No lottie work today it is tipping down. Seeding methinks. Marian (LondonUK)
It won't be long now :-)
ReplyDeleteAs the plants wake up to greet the arrival of Spring, the new leaf buds are good looking as interesting as the flower buds too... ~bangchik
