This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

skippy in the snow
We've had a very pretty snowfall over the past couple days. Fluffy white powder. Just what Skippy likes.
Did you watch the Westminster show last night? I have an Aussie Shepherd/ Akita mix and a tri-color collie. I watched all but the herding group last night, but it's taped and I will watch it before the finale tonight.
FYI, I picked the Sealyham to win the terrier group!
I'm just finishing watching the working breeds tonight! (Portuguese water dogs are working dogs.) I'm terrible. I even take pictures of the TV. I was so proud to see that Skippy's breeder (C-Lion) competed in the Westminster show this year! Skippy's cousin, Sam. Yeah Sam!!! A beautiful black portie (who looked just like Skippy) won Best.
He is so adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteSkippy sure looks at home out there in his thick black coat! What an expression!
ReplyDeleteSkippy is so, so cute!
