This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

honeybee on borage flower
Another good use for borage - it attracts honeybees! This is the first honeybee I've seen in my garden this year.
Beautiful photo. I usually have lots of volunteer borage but this year I only seem to have 1 plant. Better than nothing I guess!
ReplyDeleteThat is one awesome photo! And I just love the color of borage flowers. :-)
ReplyDeleteDelightful photo. I planted borage for the first time this year and can't wait to see those stunning blue flowers in real time. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Only one plant that I bought. But it has many flowers. I'm hoping for more plants next year.
