This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Your garlic looks much better than mine does! I don't think most of mine made it. Grow, garlic, grow!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seem a nice looking garlic in the middle of april? Not on my latitude! They survived. My garlic looks just like that.I was delighted that my artichokes made it through the nordic winter. I jump up and down yes, yes, yes U made it!.... I know I`m a nutter.
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad to hear your garlic looks like mine! I feel like I have so many gardners helping me and visiting my garden. Thanks. It's the first year I've grown garlic. And this is just cloves from the supermarket (Costco!) stuck in the ground.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a tough winter for plants, since we had very little snow cover this year, especially in the cold spells we had in Jan and Feb.
