This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he always thought the garden was his. Even though I do all the work, he always stood by me. I'm located near Boston (in USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot and a backyard vegetable garden. I use sustainable organic methods and try to grow all of my family's vegetables.

It may look cute, but you can be sure it has a big appetite for succulent veggies... So we have to treat it as the enemy!

Aww that rabbit is so cute, I wish I had one in my backyard. I get lots of opossums and raccoons but never a rabbit.

Kathy, clearly you and I do not have country dogs ... my big labs either choose to look in the opposite direction or bark to go back in the house ...

Wow. Every time I try to get close to the little bugger that scampers around my garden, he flees. Maybe it's my face :(
