This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

today's harvest
Potatoes, peppers, summer squashes, broccoli, bok choy and cukes. And lots of green tomatoes underneath.
What a beautiful bounty! I can't imagine getting bok choi and broccoli this time of year. Where I garden in Southern Maryland, by the time the tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers start to come in the cabbages and broccoli are long gone from the heat.

Very good looking veggies you got there. I am loving them! Today I had to operate again on my squash and zucchini plants to get the borers out. I am eager to get more and one of each for the full season. Borers were very bad this time, I removed 6 from one of the plants that i JUST CLEANED LAST WEEK. Never happened to me before but I did read about this. My broccoli is still producing as well but I think I got the bunching one..lol.. Huli
I can only aspire to grow like you do. Your stuff looks amazing! You are blessed :-)
