This beautiful little bird just flitted through my garden. Any idea what it is?
This one was in my pond last week. I suppose its a yellow warbler.
This one may be too far away to identify. It was sitting on a tall tree next to a pond by my parents house.
No clue, but my favorite site for bird identifying is whatbird.com. That's definitely a pretty one!
ReplyDeleteI am guessing top is a female Northern Redstart, next is a female yellow warbler, and wild guess for bottom is a dark phase Gyrfalcon.
ReplyDelete... maybe an immature Northern Harrier for the last one?
ReplyDeleteThe third picture although rather distant is (from the shape) definately a morning dove. Coo-coo-coo... I love to hear them calling.
ReplyDeleteMorning Dove for third pct. I agree with that as they look like that around here. still working on the blue gray bird. If it's tiny it could be in the Titmouse family or a regional Gnatcatcher - just a guess. I'm still trying to find it on the bird sites.
ReplyDeleteThink you got your bird. Female Redstart. Good eye!
ReplyDeleteYes, the first in a female American Redstart and the second is a Yellow Warbler. I'm not sure about the raptor.
ReplyDeleteI think the first one is a yellow green vireo but not sure.
