This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

garden gnomes
I have two gnomes in my garden. One in the kale patch and another in the thyme. I'm not sure where my third gnome went, he was fishing by my pond last year and I didn't realize he was gone until now, hmmmm. I guess it's time to clean out the pond.
Your Gnomes are industrious, our weather gnome seems a bit of a snob. He just poses and points to the skies clutching his rain measuring test tube. O.k. but get some work in too!! Fingers crossed for the Pond Gnome. hopefully he has good lungs!!
Love the gnomes! I am just starting out as a vegetable gardener and invite you to follow my blog: http://gardeningupstream.blogspot.com/
