My son helped with this project. He charred the chiles over the stove flame and then I peeled and seeded them. There are now 6 or 8 baggies of roasted chiles in the freezer ready for a sauce someday this winter.

ReplyDeleteI roasted chiles but didn't seed them. D'oh! I guess they're still useable but sauces/salsa will be spicy.
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of roasted chillies. Never seen this before. I will have to get some planted for the coming season and give and give this a try.
