This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

I think you may be right. Check this out: http://www.pbase.com/mobish/image/74862359. Looks an awful lot alike, including cool hairdo. =)
Our workshop is in my sister's garden, it has a tall hedge and it is the apartment block for 20 or so Sparrows. They go everywhere together, bath time is fantastic, we have to re-fill the bird bath as it all gets splashed out, they're great.

How cute! I just can't resist bird photos. The only sparrows I've seen in my Eastern Kansas garden are "English" sparrows. Sadly, they are growing in numbers in my neighborhood and native birds are most likely declining. I'm trying to do my small part to reverse that by planting mostly native in my garden.
Did I say that this guy is very cute? Great photo!
This lil birdie is cool, great shot. I wish we would get more birds into our garden but as soon as a bird comes near the garden our jack russell barks & chases them away!
A swamp sparrow maybe?
