  2. It's Aug 31st here in Seattle and not one single ripe tomato yet...

    I think I may cry...

  3. Are the yellow tomatoes just as tasty as the red ones? I've read some garden bloggers saying that the yellow ones aren't always as good. What are your thoughts?

  4. What a wonderful time of year for all the hard work we've put in all year long! Enjoy your tomatoes because it will be a long, tomato-less Winter!

  5. Tell me what the yellow ones are named? Are they tasty and how many fruit per plant. Just wondering as I am making notes for next year. Sauce looks delicious.

  6. Just wondered how you did with Hurricane Earl. My in-laws in Rhode Island said they finally got some much-needed rain.

  7. Great looking tomatoes. I'm in Tahoe, CA and everyone around here is waiting with green tomatoes still. I just found your blog today and I am so excited. Thank you for sharing.

  8. Hurricane Earl must have missed us here. A bit of rain - from 12:00 to 12:30 am. That's all. But any rain this year is good.

Good luck with the ripening tomatoes in Tahoe. It seems that every year is so different. We have tomatoes coming out of our ears here this year and none last year.
