Plans:

- String up tomatoes.
- Transplant sweet potatoes, summer squash, winter squash, pumpkins, melons and cucumbers.
- Remove cold frame cover and plant melons inside.
- Hill potatoes.
- Work on training my new pear tree.
- Weeding.
- Weed whacking and mowing of community garden paths.
- Maybe I can pick peas!
Whoaaa... may the force be with you!
ReplyDeleteHope you have great weather Kathy!
Certainly taking advantage of the good weather!!
ReplyDeleteI won't be able to visit my plot until sunday but my plan involves planting some pole beans, summer squash and cucumbers. Lots and lots of weeding are also called for!
Glad to see spring has really arrived in/around Boston!
You have peas? I still only have flowers on one variety out of three. But they didn't emerge from the soil until March 31st in my garden, so they still have a week or so before I start to worry.
ReplyDeleteThe blooms will come! Different pea varieties all bloom at different times. Its a good reason to plant several varieties to spread out the harvest season.
ReplyDeleteI am so curious about how you string your tomatoes! My husband and I are trying to decide on the best way to keep our plants supported this year.
ReplyDeleteOK. I'll add a post on this right now.
