This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

buddies
Here are more photos of Skippy playing with his buddy Bannor. They have such fun! A lot of running and playing - but SO much sniffing. What DO they smell??!
Imagine you got as much information about the world around you from your nose as you now get through your eyes. That's what the sense of smell is like to a dog :>
Aww! They look so cute! Tell Bannor we miss him and thank you so much for taking care of him. Looks like he is getting a vacation of his own!
ReplyDeleteGoregous doggies, they look like they are having fun.

ReplyDelete:> Is this a dog symbol?
ReplyDeleteI've heard it said that a dog sniffing is like us reading a book.
Isn't it amazing what our dogs find to explore? Mocha (our Golden retriever) is totally happy when sniffing around a new spot...
