This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

skippy's spring haircut
Skippy's is trimmed and ready for spring mud and puddles and fun!
Nice that you can do the trim yourself. That's great. My son and I tried a couple times to clip Skip. I took many many hours and was incredibly bad looking. So he gets to go out to the dog spa....
Your dog looks great! I just came across your site and I am really impressed that you did your dog's hair! I guess learning that skill; doing my own dog's hair; will surely save that extra money spent on a dog spa. Might be able to earn some also lol.
He looks so handsome! His beautiful brown eyes are so expressive, too! 'Tis the season - I'll be giving Pixie her spring trim tomorrow.
