This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

impression of the woods
The woods look like a Monet painting now.
This photo is from last Sunday. Skippy and I followed an old stone wall instead of the path so I would see all the leaves up close. I did a little PhotoShopping to make the picture look more like the woods looked to me. Spots of color. Lots of filtered light. Pastel shades.
It does look like a Monet:-) Just breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, the way the leaves appear reminds me of pictures(technique) I have seen by Georges Seurat, in that the leaves look close up like seperate dabs or "finger print like" impressions on a canvas that when standing back blend together to give in this case a wonderful picture of autumn beauty.
