I added a copyright notice to my posts. At least its clear now that they are my posts: Pirate Blog.

  3. What this person is doing really is disgusting. I hope you can get the hosting site to do something about it. Maybe there is some kind of coding you can do to stop people from copying as well, might be worth researching.

  4. There is no way to block anyone from copying your content - if one can see it on screen, one can copy it. Trust me on this one :)

    The hosting company, HostGator, requires any content creators to submit a DMCA takedown notice to them via letter or fax. Those who are having their content copied should do this, it's easy to do. I've posted their instructions in this Google Doc: http://docs.google.com/View?id=ddz759m5_48fcrcsnf6

  5. I read that google doc. It sounds pretty toothless, all the pirate has to do is say he isn't violating a copyright, and they back down. That doesn't not sound like a responsible hosting site.
