This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

evening sunlight
Its hard to believe how beautiful the fields are in the evening sunlight. I think maybe this was the most beautiful day of the year? One of many...

Hi, my husband and I were saying this morning that the light is changing and the air smells different the trees and shrubs are beginning to wear their autumn colours. Althought the darker mornings and evenings are yukky the colours of autumn and dewy webs that sparkle are like natures jewels. Although I would like a bit more sun for my veggies, I enjoy the seasons. Marian(London UK)
