This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

skippy
I've been forgetting to photograph Skippy recently, though he's as cute as ever. My son took this picture last time they were down under the kitchen table.
That is an excellent shot of Skippy! Looks like your Son picked up your photographic talent. I started photography when I was young, using my Mom's slr from the 80's, manual film advance and all.
This photo just made my day! Your son picked a good shot. It's way better than the one the AP took of Bo at Martha's Vineyard this week! ;) (Although that picture was pretty cute, too; maybe PWDs are just super-photogenic?)
He is just a charming dog. And his garden is one of the loveliest I've seen. Especially the aerial shot Skippy manages to take. They're the BEST!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture! Sometimes it is difficult to photograph a black dog but this picture is very good!

Said it before, saying it again: That Skippy is a most handsome hound.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering where Skippy's been lately! He looks handsome as ever (while my PWD mix looks as unkempt as ever, no matter how much he gets brushed).
ReplyDeleteThat's the life! Phyllis
ReplyDeleteAh yes! I've been right down on the carpet to get a shot like that too! What a contented dog Skippy is?
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more lovely than seeing a contented and well loved furry member of the family!
