This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

rainy day
Yesterday, Skippy and I got caught in the rain at the garden. A nice warm rain and we just kept on weeding anyway.
Your community garden is filling out and I love Zinnias they are so colourful. I got wet too yesteday, it absolutely bucketed down. I had just planted some cauliflower and cabbage plantlets for late year and new year eating, In the cold rain I was hurridly trying to net and protect them against pigeons when it hail stoned down on me. Even though I was wet through I felt satisfied that my task was achieved.use Marian(LondonUK)
