This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

my plot
Two views. The top one is the view from the west and the bottom one is the view from the east.
It looks lovely Kathy, our plot is filling out now too. My sister and I were like little girls yesterday literally jumping about and hugging each other on finding our first completely grown Cucumber to pick - cutting it off from the vine was almost ceremonious! Thanks for all the information on blight too, I think we are o.k. at our site at the moment but keeping a watchful eye. Marian (LondonUK)
Good looking plot. Do I see the Scary Eyes Balloon that I found on Tiny Farm Blog? Is it working for you? Turkeys are interested in my pumpkin seed this year...
Also, would like to know what type of camera(s) you use for photos!
Thanks Mary Louise mlchgarden@comcast.net Augusta GA

No scary eyes balloon. I think that's just my orange hose holder. Not really very scary, but bright orange.
ReplyDeleteCamera ID coming soon. I'm making a FAQ post.
Marian, I wish I gardened with my sisters. Once in a while one will visit me, but they live on the other side of the country. Congrats on the cuke!
