This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

but what kind of puppy will he get?
So on to the big question - what breed of dog will he get his girls? I have a suggestion, a Portuguese Water Dog!
I want to see the puppy too! I was so thrilled about Barack Obama's victory. I think Americans would be amazed at how much interest there has been here in the UK.
We are so Happy, congratulation US we are all ready for a change! / Tyra

ReplyDeleteIs Skippy a Portuguese Water Dog? He's very beautiful and looks like a great help in the garden.
ReplyDeleteAll the way over here in Australia, we are happy for you too! Nice work, America.
I think I had heard somewhere that they were going to get a shelter mutt.
ReplyDeleteI've heard shelter mutt or poodle. The kids have allergies. Yes, Skippy is a Portuguese water dog.
ReplyDeleteMy had raised for shelter pup also...good Karma and all (he'll need all the Karma he can get with the economy the way it is!)
ReplyDeleteI think there's a lot to be said for a well bred puppy.
