This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

zucchini sprouts
The zucchini is up. A little yellow on the edges. I don't think it liked all the rain. That's OK - were having zucchini weather this week - sunny and warm.
Looking good! I've been looking all over for Zucchini plants to buy. I guess I'll have to plant seeds directly like you have.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing that plants that get Soooo big start out that small?
Yes! I hope I'm leaving them enough space! (But not too much.) These should grow up to be big plants.
ReplyDeleteMy yellow squash and cukes haven't sprouted yet. Only the zucchinni so far. I'm getting a little concerned.
