This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

You know, Skippy doesn't look like he's working all that hard ;-)
I always like seeing updates about your garden. You keep everything so organized. I'm going to try to have organized raised beds this year.
I think you're right Kathy. Skippy's just out there enjoying himself in the sun. I hope you can't find my coffee cup in the picture or you'll suspect I wasn't really working too hard either.
Tell that skippy that a watched tulip never flowers... :) (He's staying out of the garden beds, right? So that's all the work you want him to do anyway?)
I just love your dog!
Skippy is a really good garden helper. I'm very lucky. He doesn't dig up the yard anymore. And my new fence works good at keeping him out of the vegetables.
