garlic

garlic
30 little garlic sprouts are poking up under the soggy leaves. Amazing how fast they are growing!

  1. Don't forget you can eat the garlic greens too! Just make sure you leave enough behind so the plant can keep growing. Chopped, they are great almost anywhere you would use normal garlic.

  3. The taste isn't as strong as the cloves. Greens are really nice in the spring, when good garlic cloves can be hard to come by. Another advantage to growing your own!
