U...@Lara, you're so right about the squirrels. Ugh; we have been so happy with the numbers we're seeing since we installed a few squirrel proof bird feeders around our property. Also, remember, even if birds aren't at your feeders, they're probably still around if you look hard enough, eating nature's treats like bugs and winter berries. Thanks for sharing these sightings - gives me hope for spring!Garnettalhttp://squirrelproofbirdfeeders.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28216161.post-32548325236691543852014-01-09T23:03:12.056-05:002014-01-09T23:03:12.056-05:00I did see a lone robin today, hopping in the froze...I did see a lone robin today, hopping in the frozen yard. kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10947233901412406068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28216161.post-79979516593342093642014-01-06T19:32:38.507-05:002014-01-06T19:32:38.507-05:00I don't see robins at my feeders either, but t...I don't see robins at my feeders either, but they congregate at the heated water dish in winter.Karen Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13306986336556283751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28216161.post-56894990049386317082014-01-05T19:40:51.826-05:002014-01-05T19:40:51.826-05:00There's something special about watching birds...There's something special about watching birds in the winter. You have quite the crew showing up! I can't wait until mine come out of hiding. The feeders have been quiet lately as all the birds hunker down and stay warm--those squirrels are brave souls though and are out and about every day!Larahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06315846379929149926noreply@blogger.com
