
It's the first time I've grown a good sized celeriac. This one is softball size. I've never had one bigger than a baseball before. I gave them more space. I guess they like to spread out their roots. I put 3 or 4 in a row - about a foot or so apart. And compost, lots of compost.
What do you do with it once you harvest it? I do not believe I have ever eaten it. Lis
ReplyDeleteCeleriac can be used with potatoes. Slice it with potatoes in a casserole, use it in soup. I most often cube it and use in with roasted winter vegetable like carrots, potatoes, squash, etc. it has a wonderful celery/potato flavor. I love it!
